4 Years & still in LOVE

Jamin and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary on the 9th. I still cannot believe it's been four years. I still remember like it was yesterday shaking in my heels about to walk down the aisle with my dad to marry Jamin. Manny babysat for us and we went and had a nice dinner at Bentwood Country Club and then had a few beers together after dinner. It was a great night! We forgot to take a picture before we went, but we took this picture after we got back (Jamin has a silly face of course). And here's a picture of our amazing dinner we ate all of - yummy!

Big Change...I'm a Brunette!

So I needed a change and I've always wanted to try out brunette hair, but I was afraid it would look weird on me. I finally got enough courage to go and have it done. I went to Inspiro Salon here because I love Aveda products. They did a great job and my hair feels and looks so much healthier now. I REALLY love my new hair and Jamin loves it too. Liam was not too sure who I was when I got home, but he's okay with it now. This is a picture of Jamin and I at the Junior League Western Dance.

We've hit a milestone!!

The day before Valentines (February 13th, 2012) was a great day. Five years ago Jamin proposed to me, it marked Liam's 11 month birthday and Liam took his first consecutive steps! Who knew the 13th could be such a great day?!? Liam had taken one step by himself on February 5th, 2012 (Super Bowl Sunday), however, this was the first time he actually took more than one step by himself. We had to use our iPhones to coax him to come to us, but hey whatever works, right? Here's part of it that we caught on tape. He did it a few times that night.

Liam loves giving kisses

You gotta love baby kisses. They are completely open-mouthed, slobbery, sweet kisses. They're the absolute best! Here's a video of Liam giving daddy kisses (and a little squealing).

Jagger likes his little brother when...

Jagger is still getting used to not being the only baby in the house and having all the attention. So he is still adjusting to Liam. Jagger is not a huge fan yet, but when Liam feeds Jagger cheese (or really any type of food) Jagger likes LIam a little bit more. Liam playing chase with Jagger

Liam's new favorite thing to do is to chase Jagger around his play area. Jagger, on the other hand, hates it!

First attempt at stage 3 textured foods - not a fan!

So the doctor gave us the go ahead on meats and textures at his 9 months visit last week. I went to the store and bought a few stage 3 foods to see what he thought. The first food he tried was Chicken and Mixed Veggies. It smelled really good, however, Liam is just not a big fan of the chunks and textures. I had to video it, because his expressions made Jamin and I laugh!

Conquered the walker, finally!

So Liam has been in the walker for the past few months, but has not been able to really make it go until the last few weeks. Now that he knows how, there's no stopping him when he's in it. He just runs into anything that's in his way. He gets so excited that he can move around on his own!
